My journey started similarly to a lot of you. I was working for someone else and wanting more out of my life. My background is actually in marketing and while I was spending my days helping other business owners accomplish their dreams, I was wishing I was accomplishing my own. I was tired of working way too long and hard for someone else, feeling underappreciated and undervalued.

That frustration led me to a big decision: quitting my job for my father-in-law and I to start our own concrete business with ZERO work lined up. He knew how to do concrete and I knew how to do marketing. We thought it was the perfect recipe to grow a true business.

We were able to scale our business to $1,200,000 of revenue in year 2 and were constantly busy. Although it appeared like things were going well, we had no money left in the bank. That's when reality sank in. I realized that running a successful and profitable concrete company was FAR beyond just getting leads and selling them. This is when I set out on a journey to find a better business model, attract better leads, and do what we all started our business to do: Make more money, not just work for the heck of it.

I’m proud to say our concrete company is now generating over $4 million in revenue and I spend just 25 hours a week managing it. The company isn’t just operational, it’s highly profitable.
